PROBLEMS WITH INTERNET EXPLORER
June 9, 2009
Some people are reporting problems with our pages that have Google ads. The pages are not being drawn properly and the ads overlap the content portion of the page. The problem appears to be a bug in recent versions of Internet Explorer on the PC. (None of the Mac Browsers have this problem.)
One workaround is to make the window wider. If that doesn't work, click the compatibility view button just to the right of the address field. A more seamless workaround is to use a different browser when viewing these pages -- Firefox is the one we recommend. The download is free, and you may find that you prefer Firefox to IE.
As an aside, I like having a second or third browser available because all browsers have their individual issues, and it is nice to be able to jump to a spare.
Sincerely,
